A LITERARY LARK

In July Ross read at The Lark, Hobart, with Kathryn Lomer. The event was organized by the The Tasmanian Writers' Centre.

EKPHRASTIC READINGS

Ross wrote poems for every painting in Thresholds: an ekphrastic event (April-May 2010) featuring the two painters, Ray Barnett and Terry Davys. The venue was Bungendore Fine Art in NSW (a 30-minute drive east of Canberra).

Ross was invited to join DiVerse, a Sydney-based group who perform ekphrastic poetry at the Irwin Gallery in Sydney and also at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, and elsewhere. The Ruth Waller exhibition at the Canberra Museum and Gallery on 5 June 2010 was his first reading with DiVerse.
